Shredded Tweet WIP

Here's my kitty.... work in progress....that I keep threatening to post pix of....
I wanted to be farther along before posting it, but thought I'd put it out there anyway.
If you look closely, you'll see actual cat whiskers that are stuck in the sculpture in addition to the feather in it's mouth...
I find whiskers around the house now and then and try to hang on to them...( People have asked if I plucked them out...Now that would be cruel and unusual)
The feathers will be canary yellow...
I'll scatter two or three at his feet on the final version...
The whiskers will be fishing line, on the finished versions.
I know it seems cruel to have feathers coming out of the cat's mouth and having it's cheek all stuffed looking, but I just couldn't resist.
I originally had it look like it was a crooning cat, belting out a tune, but while we were doing the Loveland Sculpture Show, our tent neighbors and good friends stuck a feather in it's mouth and that seemed to make the story that I needed...
