So I decided to throw my hat in the ring for the MAMA Scared Stiff contest.
I started this on Thursday, finished sculpting it by Saturday and then colored and photographed it today.
For me it was a speed sculpt.
I've been wanting to do a 'monsters under the bed' sculpture for quite a few years now and this contest got me motivated to finally do it. I was in the middle of sculpting some other pieces and wasn't sure if I could do it in time but it came together quickly for me.

not been on dA much lately and so I missed this but WOW Randy...this is so cool! I love it and many congrats on your art making it into Spectrum--so very well deserved!

Thank you so much Pam! I was just thinking about you and wondering how you've been doing.
I'm really happy this made it in to Spectrum 20. I want to finish sculpting it all the way around so I can actually mould it and have it cast.
