Love this piece, the knight looks as though he's out of his depth, whereas the dragon looks amused.

Ha! Like it a lot!
Reminds me on a insane cat of mine, which actually was reallly damned biiig and looked quite dangerous.....  just to run madly happy and with expectantly big eyes toward everything, which for sure would not be nice to him (tall dogs, cars, even lorries!!....) ;P  He grew unexpected old nevertheless ;)
Hope your dragon will also survive his adventures
=D

Thanks so much...and for the fave as well!
Cat's are definitely entertaining. We have five of our own.
I think the dragon will survive longer than the knight...hee hee :)
All my best,
Take care

You never know! ;) He looks quite clumsy (even more than mine!)..... IF AT ALL he will lick the knight to death by mistake!  =D

I really like the pose of the Dragon! It's natural and funny. I just wish there was as much life in the knight. Maybe one leg forward or his arms forward and one back. It just feels like the knight is very flat but the Dragon goes front back more because of his design.  The charred wood is priceless. Really cool and smart!

Thanks so much!
Actually what I'm going for is that sense of 'what the hell just happened' kind of shell shock.
I didn't want to convey any more life because he just got torched and he needed to be limp and lifeless.
Thanks again,
Take care

You are very welcome! I see what you mean with the shock of the knight.

I love how there is a "shadow" where his legs and torso blocked the blast.  Is that painted on the wood or did you actually char it?

Thanks so much! I did indeed char it. I used a little propane burner...it was fun.:)

Very good, one can almost see what is going to happen next. Love the focused dragon eyes, and the hight difference is just perfect.

I was admiring the baby dragon, and I can totally see how they're probably genetically related to birds :D Just a tad greener.
Anyway, tis a beautiful scene with a young dragon and its noble dinner. And the burn mark on the base is pretty awesome, new one must have one too!

You're so right...indeed a bird relative.:)
I think the dragon likes it's knights well done...hee hee.
Thanks, yeah, I'll definitely put burn marks on the new version of the base. Maybe even a small twig like burnt tree or bush.
